Academics

Curriculum

All of our curriculum offerings have biblical teaching integrated throughout. We use Abeka as our baseline curriculum with the addition of other materials as needed based on personalized learning plans. Abeka is a Christian-based curriculum that integrates biblical values into everyday lessons. The curriculum is accredited and exposes students to rigorous and comprehensive materials.

Our core subjects include Language Arts, Handwriting, Math, Science, Social Studies and Civics, Art, and Music. We also provide personalized lessons in Physical Education, Health & Safety, Manners, Habit Formation, and Life Skills,

All of our curriculum materials are available for parents to review at any time.

Technology

We limit access to technology during the school day, unless the technology is needed as a learning accommodation. When we do use technology, it is used to enhance the traditional curriculum, add personalized lessons, or offer interactive activities.

Virtual Learning

We use Google Classroom for families seeking flexibility in their environment. The Google Classroom offers full access to the curriculum, lessons, and resources that are available in-person.

Specialized Support

  • We provide nurse case management for students with complex needs.
  • We provide assessments and therapy for sensory integration.
  • We use Direct Instruction (DI) to provide a structured and explicit curriculum.
  • We can provide specialized reading programs such as Orton-Gillingham based learning.
  • We provide corrective reading and handwriting programs to help children catch up.

We Provide Academic Support.

Personalized Learning Plans

We work with parents to create personalized learning plans and goals for the learner.

Integrated Support

We provide support onsite, in the home, and in the community. If a student needs therapy to facilitate learning we will provide it or coordinate it in a manner that is the least disruptive to the student and family.

Portrait of A Graduate

Our goal is for our graduates to be accepted as productive members of their community.

From a spiritual perspective, we promote dedicated bible reading habits and prayer.

From a life skills perspective, we promote self-awareness, self-discipline and independence so that individuals are comfortable being self-reliant to the greatest extent possible.

From an academic perspective, we promote critical thinking and curiosity in a structured learning environment with just enough individualization to honor each learner.

We provide support for children to grow academically, spiritually, and socially according to God’s timeline.
