We offer a private Christian day school, designed to support the needs of traditional and non-traditional learners in home, community or hybrid settings.
Our school was started by one mother with the goal of discipling her son and providing him with the least restrictive learning environment possible as he learned to live with a medical diagnosis.
Our students learn to find hope in God’s plan while learning to live with challenges.
Our values are the foundation we rely on to invest in the current and subsequent generations.
Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honor or respect. We believe all individuals hold inherent dignity and should receive acknowledgment of their role in God’s design.
Acceptance is the action or process of being received as adequate or suitable. We believe that all individuals who are seeking a Christian community have a membership.
Independence is being free from outside control and not depending on another's authority. We believe all individuals should be taught to advocate for themself.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for Christian worship, education and support to the community.
Our vision is to enable each individual in our care to fully appreciate their God given worth, to allow them to grow in acceptance, and to enable them to live an independent life to the greatest extent possible.
We know what it is like to watch a child struggle without support, so we take our job very seriously.
As a Christian school we exist for the primary purpose of providing education and spiritual formation to children and families. We offer a classical curriculum with explicit instruction in order to provide structure. We also incorporate just enough unstructured learning and exploration days into our personalized learning plans to make life interesting.
We do not label our students. Instead, we identify challenges, create learning outcomes , provide support, and achieve goals. Because we provide personalized learning, we do not focus on test grades. Instead, we focus on personalized outcomes and participation. As a child I spent several years in a K-12 four room schoolhouse which served less than 100 children, so I can personally testify to the positive outcomes of a combined classroom model.
We welcome your questions and invite you to schedule a visit.
